Ballen Auto Solutions serves Columbus, Ohio and the surrounding Central Ohio communities. Travel throughout Ohio may be available for select jobs when the customer is willing to cover the appropriate travel and service cost — contact us for availability and pricing.
Do you come to my location?
Yes. Most services are performed where your vehicle already is — home, work, an apartment lot or a parking lot — as long as the location is safe and legal to work in.
Do you offer same-day service?
Same-day availability may be available depending on schedule and location. Call or text to check what is open today.
Do you offer after-hours roadside assistance?
After-hours roadside assistance is offered, but it is not guaranteed 24/7. Call for availability — response time depends on location and current workload.
Do you provide vehicle lockout service?
Yes. Vehicle lockouts are our primary roadside service. If your keys are locked inside, call and we will tell you whether we can get to you.
Can you diagnose a car that won't start?
Yes. No-start and crank-no-start diagnosis is one of the most common calls we take. We test the battery, starting and charging system, and scan for codes on location.
What repairs can a mobile mechanic perform?
Diagnostics, brakes and rotors, oil changes, batteries, alternators, starters, struts and shocks, tune-ups, spark plugs, ignition coils, cooling system repairs, belts, sensors, minor electrical diagnosis and general maintenance. Some repairs require a lift or shop equipment and cannot be completed roadside.
Do you restore cloudy or yellow headlights?
Yes. Mobile headlight restoration is a core service. Cloudy, yellowed or oxidized lenses are sanded, polished and sealed at your location. See the before and after gallery for real results.
Do you travel outside Columbus?
Surrounding Central Ohio communities are covered regularly. Statewide Ohio service may be available for the right job with appropriate travel pricing — just ask.

Do I need to know exactly what's wrong with my car?
No. Describe what you are seeing, hearing or feeling and we will take it from there. Diagnostics exist for exactly this reason.
Can I text pictures or information about my vehicle?

Does submitting a service request confirm an appointment?
No. A submitted request is reviewed first. Ballen Auto Solutions will contact you to discuss service, availability and pricing before anything is confirmed.
